No great road trip - unless you consider driving an hour to get to the farm where my dogs have spent their summers playing and running and swimming.

Here is Finn.  You can see the algae on his back - he just got out of the swimming hole.  He would be the one with the "dork" ear.

Lucy and I have been on the Lure Coursing circuit this summer.  This picture was taken during her best of breed run at MDIHC event on 4 September.  Lucy had 10 points coming into this AKC event and had just wrapped up a 3 point major by winning the open class.  If she could win best of breed she would have won her 5 points and earned a Field Championship.  The only thing standing in her way was DC Diamond's Ariel Of Le Creme MC LCX7, aka Ariel.  Ariel is the top coursing RR in the US for the last several years in a row.  How many I don't know.  Lucy had a great run and everyone including Ariel's owner thought that Lucy had eaked out a win.  Everyone that is except for the Judge.  Ariel would go on to win the tiebreak run.  Oh well, more reason to keep coursing this summer.  Besides Lucy loves it and I love watching her run.

The whole family went to Atlanta.  Our only trip of the summer.  Here we are in Centennial Park.  It was a pretty good trip - our girl got her 2nd  5 point major
