Kissi is my kennel name.  It began many years ago with the first litter bred, as a Puppy Reunion.  Then over the years it grew into a Reunion and Homecoming.  At one time we had over 80 dogs in attendance..and about 140 people.  I donate prizes for games, relay races and raffles..all money collected goes to rescuing RRs.  Food, games, field and straight coursing, Rally, Judges have attended for hands on, Demos of Tracking.  We haven't bred a litter in a few years - so we also invite the Rescues and their owners that we have helped.
Traditionally it is the first Sat. in August...but we will change it this year.

Maybe you will be able to attend...hairy legs and all... 8)

Do you fan the flames, try to douse them, flee from the heat, watch as the house burns, or use the
cell-phone camera to privately send it to others?

Well we don't have one from your kennel but we do have a rescue, so does that count? ;)
When do you plan on having the homecoming?.  Do you have a link for it here on the forum?
Joe.

I would say the next most important thing is attitude. This event is all about the dogs. Looking at the activities that are available, are there particular things that you want to be able to try? Try to plot out the ones that require particular timing.... HRA, lure coursing, conformation, tracking, ATTS. Then let the other stuff fill itself in. Talk to everyone you meet. Don't even think about having anything in common. You already do.. the dogs.
Bring cash for breakfasts and lunches. $1 - 3 per item. Bring something to enjoy around the bonfires at night. And some cash for raffle tickets. Lots of raffle items and the money goes to rescue and AKC donor advised health fund. (both great causes) Bring copies of your pups registration info for the titles that they'll go home with. And nothing but casual clothes.

Bring your stress and prepare to leave it behind.

Can't wait to meet you!

Karen has extended the 10% discount for registration to this Monday (June 7). Now is the time to make the commitment and save yourself some dollars --- enough to pay for your breakfasts and lunches!
If you've been thinking about attending, this weekend is the time to do it.

Just 6 weeks to go!
