Hello all
Long time listener first time caller. We have a new dog. I was researching RR's when I came across a litter in need of adoption. The rescue organization listed the puppies as RR/Shep mix. We went down to look at the puppies and of course, once the wife picked up the puppy and held her it was all over.
The sibs (all males) looked like little monsters. Huge paws, and the earth actually shook when they walked. But they looked like RR's, at least from looking at some pictures of RR's on the web....The rescue organizer said that the vet pegged the dogs as RR's/Shepard mix...
I thought I would come here and see what the pros thought.

When we went last Sat to look at the pups, we weren't supposed to actually get a dog, as we were leaving to go to Big Bear for a week on Sunday.......yeah, that did not work out too well..
Her back......no ridge, but an obvious line... She does have a splash of white on her chest, and toes.....she is getting along fairly well with our fox terrier..

I'm thinking maybe Lab, not so much Shep...might have to wait to see how she develops some more....
